Screen flickering during games

During games, my screen flickers a lot and it's really distracting.

The scoreboard and other boxes will flicker when I hover over them and during play-by-play. And throughout gameplay, checkered boxes will flicker in and out of the screen.

Any idea what's going on or how to fix this? Running on a 3080 and 5600x, so I can't imagine it's a hardware issue.

The requisite first question, (so I ask just to get it out of the way), is "Have you ensured your video drivers are up-to-date. The settings for things like refresh rate, etc. are accessible from the "Settings" option on the Title Screen under 3D. I've never messed with them but in case you were looking for them, I wanted to point out where they were.

Limiting the frames appears to have done it!
