Next Year Rookies in the FA Pool?

Ok I havent seen this before but the rookies for next season are in the FA pool and as you could guess that doesnt bode well for consistancy in the league if the rookies for next season can be signed now.

Any idea how this happened?

Are you guys using Total Minors? And did you start with a fantasy draft?

I know this was a problem I was having in OOTP4. The only fix I found/heard of was to wait until right before the draft to create the guys.

This may not work if you're running the draft in June though. The players you create on May 31st might not be put in the draft until the following year. Might want to try it though.

The problem we face now is that we arent sure who is really a FA and who is a rookie. So we had to put a freeze on signing any of the players with blue stars.

P.S. This is a fictional on-line league

Scott, your best bet is to look at blue stars and anyone under 24. Those are the guys that normally would NOT be FA's under any circumstances.
