FHM11 won't import my fhm10 save (dated Oct 2024)

I believe this happened with going from FHM9-->10 as well, and I think the dev team had to modify my save, but I can't import my season save into fhm11 because it's not set on July 1. Any way around this? do I need to contact Jeff to correct my save?

The save in your game file has to be July 1st. So if you're any other date in your game (say, December 2028, or August 1974), you need to play your season to July 1st. Then you can copy your save over to the FHM11 file and import it. It won't work otherwise.

not to nitpick/criticize the dev team, but the season starts in early October. If they want to stick to this July 1 date then the game should be released before the season actually starts, not a release date a month after the actual season starts.

July 1st is a date when all the databases change over. It's the only day it works.

It wouldn't be any different when we release. In fact, every year since 7 we've moved our release date closer to the start of the season again. Things take time.
