Game Crashing Issue
I had installed FHM11 on my desktop and had been running it no problem - had been playing a standard game without issue. I had an issue where the drive where FHM11 was saved was almost full; so I moved a bunch of files from that drive to a new drive. Since then the game keeps crashing on me. I can not load my existing standard game - I can open the game, select ‘load game’, select the game, and as it’s loading it crashes. I tried a new custom game to test, and trying to sim ahead causes it to crash as well. i have uninstalled the game and reinstalled but it hasn’t fixed my issue. I haven’t uploaded a specific game file as I’m not sure this is related to a specific save. Any help please?

If you've uninstalled and reinstalled, that would've fixed any files you accidentally deleted or moved, so it sounds like that isn't the issue. Can you upload the save that crashes when you're trying to load it? I may be able to tell something from that.

As I was preparing the files to send you, I noticed that the test league I created was missing files. I’m not sure how that happened but is obviously why that file is crashing. I have tried my original save (standard game), and it consistently crashes when loading. I have uploaded to Dropbox and sent you the file, thank you for the assistance!

The original save appears to be completely gone, unfortunately - the main save and the two backups all have numerous missing files; it looks like the save process was interrupted at some point (probably when you ran out of disk space), and then the backups were overwritten with the newly-broken files (possibly during reloading attempts.) There are a bunch of critical files that are completely empty, so there's no way for us to reconstruct the data in them and fix the save, sorry.
But that doesn't explain missing files in a new game. First thing I'd try is another reinstallation (which will also get the newest update), then try creating another new game. If that still crashes, please upload the new save and I'll take a look and try to see where the problem is. |

I think you may be on to something. I ran out of space making the second game and then tried to load up my original save. If my drive was maxed out, it’s possible it couldn’t write the files.
Good news is my game still works I guess. |
