Signing drafted players

I would like to add the actual players just drafted by the Mets. I can find Carson Benge, but I can't sign him even though he is listed as a free agent.

And I can't find a way to sign the players I drafted in the game.

Is that something that's only available in the computer game?

Are the drafted players signed automatically in Go?
