RE: Injury Replacements

As a player with a visual disability, I would love it if ... when a player is injured and needs to be replaced ... if ONLY the player needing replaced had a red highlight by it. What's happened to me several times is that I try to replace the player who is injured, but I see the red highlight for the batter who is now at the plate, and that's below the one being replaced ... I then make a mistake and replace the #2 batter instead of the injured #1 batter. It doesn't sound like a huge deal if you see well, but for a player like me it can be incredibly frustrating, since there is NO margin for error -- as soon as a player's name is dragged into a spot, it's permanent.

If this is impossible, I'd love the option to fix an error when replacing a player, since I'm pretty sure in real life no manager is going to "accidentally" send out the wrong guy.

Thanks EDIT: I forgot to screencap the screen when it happened ... next time I have an injury, I will screen-grab and highlight what I'm talking about specifically.

Not being someone who plays out many games I'm not familiar with the red highlight your talking about but I'll try to pay attention to it next time I do.

YES! I think there should be a "redo" button! Just like anything in excel or word or....you can simply undo the mistake and go forward. I am sure there is a reason, because this is too good an idea!

Not sure why I didn't think of this before but did you try going into commissioner mode and editing back the way it was? I would think you should be able to do that.

I assume you are talking about the main substitution menu and not the "on filed" menu, and the red "AB" that appears next to the player coming up in place of position?

So then the color red draws your eye? In that case maybe the "AB" that is now red could be changed to yellow, matching the color of the batter's name that is also underlined? Would that work for you? IOW I'd prefer the current red AB being changed to another color and not going "white", ie I like the color drawing my eye to the next batter.

A suggestion that may work for you now with the game as is. At the top of the substitution screen is an option called "Confirm Substitution". If you enable that option you will get a safety net\margin for error in the form of a popup that you have to click on to confirm your decision.
