name set help

Apologies as I'm not the most computer savvy person but I've downloaded an 1800's name set that was done about 10 years ago but they are .txt files and I've noticed the ones in OOTP are now in .dat format. How do I get the .txt files into the .dat format?? Any help will be appreciated.

The great eriqjaffe made a tool for this that makes it super easy to convert to XML. Download the file ending with beta.setup.exe from the link below and install it. It's a straightforward tool, just choose the files you want to convert.
