TBCB 2013 load save keeps crashing

Hi Guys,

I started playing this game a year or so ago and have been adding real fighters to the database when ever I got the chance. Today Was playing the game and my laptop died so upon rebooting, the game began to update and asked me for my game code again. This has happened before so no biggie, but this time When i added my game code, the game crashed. Now when I launch TBCB it woks fine until I continue game and I get an message saying loading languages and the game crashes. I can create a new world and the play the game at the start again but I do not want to have to re add all my fighters and create their ratings and bios all over again.

I have tried restarting my pc and still not working, my windows is up to date. If someone knows how I can fix this or how i can load my saved game from one universe to a brand new universe, that would be a big help. I would hate to think I spent hours and hours on this game just to lose everything.
