AI sending money instead of retaining when trading players

In the Standard MLB game, I see AI sending money instead of retaining players' salaries when trading players.

I remember AI usually retains salaries after "Retaining salary" feature was implemented in OOTP.

Does it happen to your game too?

This has been adjusted slightly in the patch out for public beta. Teams will use a combination of retention and cash in deals now.
