has anyone ever simmed baseball history?

Has anyone ever simulated the entire baseball history from the start of the first season allowed in game and used same transactions and such through out?

I am curious how many of the same world champions won the title if you if anyone ever tried this?

I have done it from 1901-2001 and it is pretty easy to do. Took a couple hours and the system did most of the work. Don’t have the league on my computer anymore but easy to set up and to let it run by itself. I thought it was pretty accurate. NYY won the most.

Just set up real transactions, real lineups. 1 year recalc, not double weighted. Real stats, neutralized ball park factors, turn off development, coaching cohesion, personality, etc. Everything else on default. Start game in 1901 or so. 1800s are kind of wonky. And then let game play on it’s on until Dec 2023.

Try it and let us know your results.

I've probably done it 50+ times in OOTP 25. As is said above, Replay Mode will get you all the settings you need except you need to, on Day 1, go to Game Settings, Global Settings and turn off coaching. The defaults are already real transactions/line-ups etc. Dob't change any of them (aside from coaching). Start at 1901. Don't select a Team at the end of the Histroical Game Set-up Wizard. Sim to s a specific date like 2 Feb 2024. Go to the HOF, the Almanac to review WS champs, look-up players to see how they did. If you watch the years go by, I find that while there are many of the same WS champs, often the champ loses in the playoffs. Such is baseball.

So the Yankees still won the most titles huh? Do you remember who hit the most homeruns lifetime?

Always... this is the league history of my actual simulation in OOTP24. Real line up (except from 1871-1900), real transaction and one year recalculation.

I see the Black Sox didn't throw the series in this universe. I wonder why those eight guys all quit after 1920...

Given his losses at the boys not holding up their end of the bargain, I reckon Arnold Rothstein had all their fingers and kneecaps broken.

Barry Bonds around 750.
Ty Cobb leading batting average. (I think)
I have run so many other simulations since then trying to get my setting where I like for my random debut league.

And if anyone cares my setting for my random debut, 3 year recalc double weighted,8 round rookie draft, development on, injuries off, 1984 stat year.
Adjust weaken. Batters 585/265; Pitchers 75/35.
