Waivers question
Without going into why teams put players on waivers (this thread was covered in the OOTP24 forums pretty well along with house rules on trading for players on waivers) I have a question.
Is there anyway to receive a notification when a player you may be interested in is put on waivers. I'm playing Colorado and it is the season's opening day. A player I am interested in ( a pitcher) is put on waivers by NYY in the post ST dump. He is out of options and he has 0 options this season. If he is waived again later this season can I receive a notification or do I just need to check the wire daily? |

Trying to closely track the waiver wire is something that could use some more visibility somewhere. I bookmark the waiver page, and look at the manager page which sometimes says there are interesting players on the waiver wire, but there should be more. Assistant GM should do something useful for once. It's too easy to sim weeks or months and miss the 3 day waiver claim period. Even though I tend to only sim a day at a time, it's easy to miss waiver activity while checking box scores, stats, minor leagues, injury list additions/returns, etc.

I guess we are all different, but I literally check the waiver wire daily.
I could totally see that being an issue though if you don't play out every single game. |
