Couple Random Questions
Couple questions that I simply don’t know and have just ignore in recent years of playing. I know very little of this game, just enjoy the roster/sim management of it.
-I like to play just the role of GM. I tend to assign my minor league movement to the AI coaches. There are a few players I like to personally track myself at times and promote. Is there a way so that the AI doesn’t keep moving a guy I recently manually promoted? -I often set player strategies to my coaches. With the addition of the training lab do we know if this has to be set to user now? If set to user what does the strategy really apply to in a player? -I like to at times get a look at players in spring training. I understand this will cost me an option but at times the AI will randomly add to or fill my 40 man with a player or two out of options. Is there a way around this? ***I don’t yet have 25, I’m waiting for steam release, just getting amped to play*** |

First question, yes, there is an option under player strategy to "lock them". This stops the AI from promoting/demoting that player, or from overriding any strategies you set for them.
Second question, I don't know how this will apply with the new lab stuff. Third question, spring training rosters can have players that are not on the 40-man roster, so you don't have to worry about burning option years. Last edited by snepp; 03-13-2024 at 04:52 PM. Reason: Post #1234, woot. |
