Do player improvements only happen on Mondays?

I've noticed that my team always seems to have player developments on the same day... like 4/7, 4/14, 4/21, etc. Is this just an amazing coincidence? I suspect it isn't.

The talent changes only on Mondays or in the instance of a large injury (in those cases you can get a report on a Tuesday or Friday, etc.). So the player development report will only change after those instances. However I believe rating changes need not only appear on Mondays.

Be careful, it is just TALENT development! Actual rating developments can occur every day IMO!

Yes, I think that "rating changes"(which are NOT recorded in player development) can happen any day.

Get BOSI set-up if you want to see how your ratings changes on a daily basis.

It's mainly geared toward on-line leagues, as it uses PhP and MySQL to run. I haven't heard of anyone who has gotten it setup locally.

I do have a central server which I run that would cost $3.50/month that you could use. Or, you can get some webspace that has access to PhP and MySQL. I've got a hosting company that could help you out there too.

Bottom line .. BOSI is geared toward on-line leagues, but there is no reason why a solo league couldn't use it. I even have a script that will wipe all data for a league. So if you are one of those that likes to start a league, play 30 years, then start over, I can accomodate that.

Feel free to ask any questions you've got.

In order to install locally, you'll have to look into installing these:

http://www.php.net

http://www.mysql.com

If anyone ever gets this to work, please write up something so I can post an on-line doc for it.

Is there something that will do this for OOTP4? I seem to recall seeing someone have a skill development chart.

I got BOSI to work on localhost quite easily. I did a full writeup at http://jpbaseball.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=381#381
