Team trades their same 1st round pick 3 times on same day

I have a custom fictional league. I noticed in the news that one of the AI teams made 3 trades just before the trade deadline. Each of the 3 trades involved them trading their same 1st round pick. So they were able to get 3 really good players (in 3 separate deals), using the same pick.

Therefore, 2 of the 3 teams that sent a really good player, never got their 1st round pick.

This really needs to be fixed.

Can you upload that save? The way AI trading is handled, that shouldn't be possible, so I'd like to see the exact details of the league and what kind of trade was being made.

You can see from the news articles that the Columbus Cannons made three separate trades, each one trading their 2029 first round draft pick

Definitely not a case of them trading the pick, then trading back for it, and then trading it again (which would be super-rare but not impossible); we'll have to take a look at the team draft pick data and see if something didn't update properly there.

Thanks for looking into this issue. I don't know if this is related to my original problem, but I think I discovered another issue relating to 1st round pick(s)...

In the off-season, I submitted an offer sheet for a Restricted Free Agent. The RFA agreed to my offer. I was notified that the compensation would cost me my next 3 years first round picks. However, I noticed that these 3 first round picks were never taken from me.

I don't know if this is something that will update once I get closer to the draft, but it looks like I still have these picks, and have them available to trade or just keep for the upcoming drafts.

Just had NYR Trade their 2026 1st rnd pick twice in the same day.

I checked Quebec - they only have the NYR 1st for 2026 showing.

Sorry to be a pest, but is this being looked into? Seems like a big issue to me, and others seem to be having the same problem.

Anything new on this? Just a note - I keep a good eye out for any trades involving a 1st round pick. I have played about 5 more seasons, but have not seen this happen again.
