How Do You Get Any Kind of Support From This Company?

I have been a customer for many years purchasing Out of the Park about 15 times and every incarnation of FHM as well.

I recently purchased the package of OOTP24 and FHM10, and while I have no issues with OOTP, FHM won't accept the licence key, repeatedly saying I should try again in a few minutes.

For some reason, when I try to report this and get a working licence key, it takes me to the "Support" page where am I asked to login, but I don't have a login, yet I can't seem to find any possible way to create a login, it only seems to be for people returning with an existing password and sign in.

I just want to play the game I paid for. Why is it so difficult to contact your company? How can I resolve this and get a licence key that works?

I can't help you as I prefer steam but I would say it is the holidays, so I could understand it being slow to respond. I'd also hit them up on maybe twitter and/or the discord and see if they notice it faster.

Devs are pretty great at answering questions and solving problems, especially on this forum. It's holidays season they deserve some slack too haha. Check back in a few days I'm sure they'll make everything right for you.

Jeff and Adam are very responsive on the forums - it's the holiday's so I'd say that responses will be slower than usual. This is also a good advert for getting the game via Steam fwiw.

Sorry for the delay. OOTP unexpectedly closed their technical support site (which would normally handle this type of report) recently, and it seems like some parts of what remains don't have the proper notifications on how to contact us with problems. If you're still having trouble activating (the activation site can go down in a manner similar to this during busy periods, like the holidays), let me know and I'll send you a different key (or a Steam key, if you'd prefer that.)

No idea who you are or what you're talking about, but I'm pretty sure I remember building all of the college team database stuff for FHM myself.

Hello?

Can anybody at this company please give me my money back because it's quite clear that nobody cares that I can't access the product you sold me.

If you refuse to help me access the game, that is entirely your choice, if that's how you want to treat a long time customer that has been supporting your product from the very beginning, thats up to you.

You have lost me a customer. It's absurd that it's now been nearly two weeks without any help from your company.

PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO GET MY MONEY BACK!!!

You did not have a post on here at all. Doing a little research, it seems you made a Blog Post, not a forum reply...so it's not really easy for us to see that and respond.

Jeff asked for you to 'let him know' (ie; PM him - click on his name, then "send a private message").

While I'm sorry you've had issues, we'd still like to help you find a solution, and barring that, you need to contact Fastspring.

Please keep in mind, the FHM team is exactly 3 people (not including me)...and we can't be on here all the time. I am truly sorry you have had issues, but we assumed when you didn't post from January 1st until the 8th...we can't know either.

Being that this should now be set to be solved one way or another via PM, I'm going to close this thread for now. If Jeff decides to reopen it, that's fine.

I'm pretty sure there were some posts here by Risk Factor about a computer hacking problem which may have been removed since it had nothing to do with the issue at hand, so maybe the message referred to by Ferrisrox was accidentally swept away, if both my memory and surmise are correct. As for me, OOTP always responded with an answer, even when I posted a question to the general public.
