Trading Til Stanley Cup

So seen this and figured I would give it a trying in FHM10 (original idea is from NHL24)

Objective: I will be taking 1 out of 4 of the teams top players and trading them to another team to get the most out of what I can(Evenly Trades) to improve the team and hopefully win the Stanley Cup. I will spin a wheel to determine which player will be the trade bait and then spin another wheel to see which team I need to trade with.

I will spin the first Team I will be trying to complete the challenge with and when it is done, I will take recommendations for the next team I try!

THE FIRST TEAM:


I am going by ability and the Top Players that will be spun will be Jack Hughes, Timo Meier, Nico Hischier and Dougie Hamilton.

Yeah I needed to spice things up haha. been awhile since I played through the management game, so wanted to give me something to work towards!

Currently sitting first in our division, and the Goalie Duo of Georgiyev and Allen seem to be flawless currently sitting 1st and 4th in the league for GAA and SV%


The Player Stats Seem as expected with the ability of the players.
nice to see Drouin, Toews and Girard are doing well in a sense with the additions (Georgiyev obviously being clutch in net)

well we took a deep fall, as we were fighting for the last position up until the last week and a half of the season to miss the playoffs by 3 points


season stats are as expected I would say. Hughes with a nice 42 Goal season was nice to see


The complete split in net was shocking to see, but i'd say overall it was deserved as goaltending is what kept us at float so long, just a few games we needed more scoring to edge into the playoffs

ATTEMPT ONE: FAILED
Overall not mad, was a pretty good run with what I was allowed to trade for by colorado. Attempt Two lets hope for playoffs!

47 Games into the Season of Attempt #2
Currently the New Jersey Devils have done great through the first lag of the season posting a 30-12-5 record good for 65 points, first in their division and 4th in the NHL behind Florida (72), Detroit (71) and Vegas (70).

The Players
As expected from the previous sim, Hughes leads the way with 30G, 37A for 67 pts in 47 games. followed by Timo Meier 26,33, 59pts and Jesper Bratt 16,34, 50pts

Zibanejad doing well as a Devil having played in 47 games and totaling 15G, 22A for 37pts

Kakko has only 20pts in 47 games played, Alexis Lafreniere 14 pts in 47 games with a -2, Wheeler 6 pts in 20 games

The Goalies are split down have been top notch through the first stages, with Kahkonen showing to be the fav for now posting a 15-4-3 record with 4 Shutouts, 2.30 GAA and .924 SV%

Allen has his moments also posting a 15-8-2 record, 2 shoutouts, a 2.70 GAA and .908 SV%
