ECHL Affiliations

Since not every team has an ECHL affiliate, would it be possible to have NHL teams share affiliates? In commissioner mode, I'm able to have multiple AHL teams assigned to an ECHL team. I'd prefer to send my lower-level prospects to the ECHL as it's a higher level of play than the semi-pro leagues.

great idea, especially since I see a lot of fringe AHL players getting moving to semi-pro instead of ECHL clubs

Short answer is no...at least not right now. What happens is the teams get overloaded with players and that causes other issues. Guys playing the Semi-Pros aren't really being hurt at all as it's still actively developing them.

How feasible would it be to increase the roster limits for the ECHL teams to account for the number of players being sent down?

In real life, ECHL teams can only carry carry a maximum of20 players (21 for the first 30 days of the regular season).Assuming that's how the game is.

Hopefully we can have improved AI so NHL teams handle their rosters appropriately.
