Custom game - Foreigner limit

Hi guys,

I have created a custom league with a set limit of foreign players. However, my league is international, and the limit seems to only apply for the teams located in the same country, as the league itself. I remember that in FHM 6, the limit applied to each team and its nationality, which is what I would like to achieve. Is there any way to apply foreigner limit to a team specifically, by a commissioner mode or by editing the save file?

I know that national teams are yet to be added to custom games, but is it possible to add national teams into a custom game by editing the save file?

We made a change to the way the foreigners rule is applied to a team that is not part of the league's main nation (it was creating a problem with the KHL's roster rules.) The way it works now is that any teams whose nation doesn't match the main nation get their foreigner limit set by a league rule called "Foreigners dressed (team is not from main nation)". But that field isn't editable in custom games, and defaults to 99, so in your case your foreign teams have no foreign limit.

We're going to make that field editable in the next update so you can set it to a lower number (0 would allow those teams only local players).

There's isn't any way to add national teams/international play to custom games right now, that requires additional coding to allow the players to be moved to the national team from their regular team. But international play is near the top of our priority list for custom mode right now - we were hoping to get it into FHM10, but it's going to be a big project (and will have complications not present in historical and standard modes) so there wasn't enough time. Hoping to get it into 11.
