When starting in 91 as the sharks if you select redraft you still end up with their roster and also get to draft in the expansion.

It'll only re-draft the expansion draft itself - the Minnesota dispersal draft players will start on the Sharks roster, the same as other players acquired through non-expansion draft means do.
