Importing of historical players into custom game

Just wondering if there is a quicker way of importing of historical players into a custom game, rather than a one at a time name and season search?

Would be great to have other filters so you could batch import by nation, age etc.

So you can import a historic team during the set-up (and then change the name of the team if you have purely fictional teams in mind). That will at least populate your league with historic players to start.

I did this for the NHL I created, but any International teams/leagues are not available with this method... only individual players one at a time which is a slow process. As every season passes I would like to import new historical junior players into the database (preferably in a batch to speed things up).

I understand, was just offering a suggestion of what I knew worked in the game right now. Batch import or adding random debut of historical players to fictional games would be a nice thing.
