Salary Cup in NHL doesn't work?

I started standard game in NHL for LA Kings. I noticed that available salary cap for my team shows negative amount. But game allows me to play on, it used to stop simulation and did not allow you to pass that day until you fix your salary cup problem. Is it broken and salary cap not working, or is it shows incorrectly, because if I calc by hand and substract inj players cap I have room under cap. Not to mention that Minnesota Wild just waived good goalie in Filip Gustavsson after acquiring Phoenix Copley from me... Which is completely stupid and unrealistic decision... There were some like that in FHM9, but this one stands out...

I think we'll need to see the save (uploading instructions at https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=341827) to figure out what's going on there - I edited a save so the Kings were above the cap during the regular season and immediately got the warning to fix it when I tried to continue, so there must be some unusual situation in your game that's letting you continue like that.

You're $3.3 million under the cap in that save, where were you seeing a negative amount?

I acquired Gustavsson from waivers and it allowed me to proceed. Also I got Kempe in Roster and it was fine. If you go to roster page, below you can see it is 10.8M below cap, but in Finance page it's 3.4M... It doesn't match
