MLB Players in Rookie Draft

I thought I had my league set to import random MLB rookies for the Rookie drafts. It seemed to work for the inaugural draft, but they don't seem to be importing for the subsequent drafts. Can anyone tell me what settings I may have missed when setting up the game? Thanks.

Step one of the Historical Game Set-up Wizard has the toggle needing to be checked. Can you say more of what your set-up entails? And who is coming into your draft in whatever year it is?

It's a Fictional game set to start in 1977
I have checked "Import Random Rookies for all Eras"

Is yours also a fictional game? I play Random Debut all the time but always using the Historical Game wizard, never the fictional.

I'm using a conventional start, I think I did a custom setup, but not using random players for initial rosters

I too use the historical wizard for random debuts, so this is just something you could try.

On the rules page. Look at the check box right below the Amateur Draft checkbox. It's something to do with the game creating fictional free agents or draftees(I'm at work, so don't know the exact wording. See if that box is checked or not? If the check box right below is unchecked check it. I think that may work, but again, it's a guess.

Here's a screenshot. Looks like I've got it set like that currently. I've done this before using random players from the beginning, but not using current rosters. Didn't think there would be any issues though. I appreciate the help!

Try putting a check in the box for disable automatic creation of free agents. Also, make sure the box for import random players is checked.
