Help with switching teams in the same game

Hello all,

I recently switched from managing the Baltimore Orioles to the St. Louis Cardinals in one of my saves. However, even after "assigning" a new Manager and GM to my former team, there have been no transactions made on Baltimore's side. For example, I've had to manage their Opening Day Roster and even IL. I hate managing two teams at once, so is there any setting I need to look at to make sure the AI takes control of my former team? Any information/advice is appreciated!

Don't assign any staff to your former team. The AI will hire staff once you put it in charge of that team. Simply quit your job with the old team and move on. The AI will hire replacements.

Do you happen to have not let the AI make roster moves under Baltimore's team settings?

And condolences for moving from Baltimore to St. Louis, penthouse to outhouse! You may have masochistic tendencies. If this is a current season save.

Trying to understand what you were saying here... the game I'm playing is not on challenge mode if that answers any questions you might have. Should I go on commissioner mode and fire all of Baltimore's staff? I have already taken on my new job in St. Louis, but Baltimore has made zero transactions after a month or so.

Not talking Challenge Mode - never played it, far as I know you can't switch jobs in Challenge Mode.

How did you leave Baltimore? Did you just resign/quit from your post as GM? Or did you create a new GM and assign him to the team? How did you "Assign a new GM & Manager"? Need to know what steps you took.

For more clarity, I decided to quit my job as Manager and GM of Baltimore. Next day, a flood of job offers come in, and I take the Cardinals' offer. I didn't necessarily assign a new GM, but on Baltimore's "Meet the Team" page, it says that my former assistant GM is now the General Manager. Maybe there is something I need to do, but I'm not sure yet...

Was your assistant GM a Human or AI?

When you go to Baltimore's Team page and look at Personnel, does it show an AI or Human as GM?

My assistant GM was an AI, which makes it weird why Baltimore isn't making any transactions.
