No let’s see what you got. I suppose you could do both a retro and a modern.

Thumbs up

That's pretty nifty work, mate... any chance for the logo to be exhibited here? Couldn't locate this anywhere...

Super job... when I think of Native Americans, I think of turquoise and bright colors... you nailed it on Lawton Medicine Men... wonderful color coordination.

The font on LAWTON really has an Indian feel to it... you used it on MEDICINE MEN, TOO, but none of the LAWTON letters were in MEDICINE MEN... the font didn't doctor up all of the letters in it apparently... just some of them.

That font is called Rainsong. It took me a minute to find it. Lawton is the home of the US Army’s historic fort sill. Oklahoma’s national guard is the 45th infantry division which is nicknamed the thunderbirds. If you look at the A in the away set it looks like a Teepee and the T looks like a thunderbird. The Lawton Medicine Men was an actual minor league team that played in 1911. So this is a modern adaptation of what they might have looked like today. I’m actually very proud of how it turned out. I think it’s better than most of the baseball branding that graphic designers are putting out these days. None of which are even considering the history of the sport in the places where they are placing these teams that and I actually hate the whole concept of brand extension. The world only needs one Yankees and one dodgers and so forth. But yeah I like it

I'm with you, mghurst... keep the logos traditional and base it on town history and culture.

Yep, I noticed the A (teepee) and the T (thunderbirds)... very nice touches.

The L has a Indian blanket pattern in it.
