Wild Playoff game

My team, the Pinguins, win a wild game 4 of the first round playoff series to force a deciding game 5 at home. A pitchers duel turns into a slugfest in extra innings. In the bottom of the ninth an error leads to a game tying unearned run. Then in the top of the tenth we seem to put the game away with 4 runs. But in the bottom of the inning, with 2 out and a runner on, a hit is followed by a hit batter and then a game tying 3-run homer.

Fortunately we are spared a soul crushing defeat and blow the game open in the lucky 13th.

Amazing. And another argument against ghost runners.

When it comes to wild post-season games, I always think of this real-life example:

Toronto 15, Philadelphia 14 (1993 World Series game #4)

A little off-topic, but I was just thinking of this series today. ESPN Radio asked a question about your favorite home run ever.

Of course, they were talking about MLB, but this was my favorite home run ever: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Aou...AChampionships

Joe Carter's series walk off against Mitch Williams in Game 6 was my favorite MLB HR ever.

As another comparison, I just won a series I was down 3 games to 0 with a home run in the top of the 13th. An exciting Friday night!
