Adding Seasons to Database

Is it possible to add seasons to the game for historical play? Say I want to add data for 1870... I tried adding to the teams file with the db convertor and when I went to load the season there was no option in league import to select 1870. Is this hardcoded to not make 1870 a selectable season? Or do I need to make more changes? Would I need to edit the historical db? Can that even be done?

You would need to edit the leagues file as well to add in a new league, not just the teams file.
