trade reputation

why does your trade reputation go down if you reject offers from other teams. shouldnt it only go down if you offer them a trade then back out once they accept the offer

Seeing the same thing. It does not happen every time, but attached image below shows effect on reputation rejecting or ignoring) email offers from the AI on Trade Deadline day.

It should not happen. When you reject the deal, how are you handling it, exactly? Are you using the Reject dropdown from the message, or going into discuss, and then clearing the offer from there? Or rejecting from the trade deadline tab?

And for any of them, do you remember the popup message, whether it warned about reputation at all? Any details can help track down where we might be accidentally adjusting things. If it was a deal that you offered to them and they accepted, then you would get a reputation hit, but otherwise rejecting an offer should not impact things.

where i noticed it the most was trade deadline day when i would go in and view the trade from the trade screen. my theory is the feature sees that the AI is willing to make a trade not realizing that it is one that the AI offered. Trade deadline day literally put me all the way down. there were no warnings about trade reputation. i do normaly go into the trade screen to view it so i know if they have anyone i want to counter offer for. I also noticed a hit in reputation if i counter offer their trade so i do think it has to do with the system not knowing the difference between a cpu offered trade and your offer. watching your deep dive video it looked like it was doing it to you guys to and you said something about it being off

btw you guys killed it this launch and the game is much improved this is literally the only bug i have found and its easy to work around it by disabling it for now. You guys are awesome

No pop ups, these were solely email offers from other teams the 2 days prior to the Trade Deadline. I had about 6 offers overall, rejecting two by selecting Clear Offer in the drop down and ignoring the others. When the sim advanced a day past the Trade Deadline the reputation dropped.

I can check next time I near the Deadline and see if it was a result of rejecting the offers (hitting clear in the email drop down), ignoring the emails, or both.

At no time was the trade screen opened for discussing the trade between any teams.

If this is not intended I can save a file next time I near the Deadline and put it in the bug forum.

Trade reputation dropping from what appears to be unacknowledged AI Trade requests in email. Attached file has 3 sitting in email (none expiring). Advancing the game date 1 day will result in a drop in Trade Reputation with no other action. Ran this file 1 Sim Day 3 times with same result each time."

Seems redundant after the fact, so can kill it if needed.

Has this not been fixed? Not sure if it matters that it's in historical mode or not- but my reputation has plummeted despite not offering any trades since the last one I went through with, where my reputation was above average. I've rejected some that have been offered to me but ... is just "time" overall supposed to lower your reputation?
