IIHF team eligible rules

How do I make players eligible for their national team for the IIHF tournament, other than making sure their player profile has the correct country? I see a few players, such as Sean Farrell (MTL) who don't show under the "available players" for team USA, that should be eligible (and have already been chosen for the real USA team)

It's up to the players - they all make a choice about whether they want to play in the World Championships (Canadians and Americans in particular are likely to choose not to), and if they don't, they won't show up on the eligible list.

I have commissioner mode enabled, the players show (P) and have a * by their name, anything that can be done in edit mode to force them to be added?

No, there's no way to edit it. It's a one time pass/fail check to determine if they show up on the available list; if they fail, that's it, no World Championships for them that year.

that's too bad, a future update should enable an option to override this, if you have commissioner mode enabled
