Olympic Schedule Conflict

I generated a new schedule at the beginning of the season, and its not taken into account the olympic games, is there anyway around this or am i going to have to waive players to be able to put out a team whilst the tournament goes on. I'd like in future that the schedule generator picks this up, or Have i missed a setting somewhere?

It should be leaving a break in the season for that when the schedule is generated. Was that in a standard game or historical?

Historical, i upped the games to 84 for 97/98 and it said schedule generated, so i didn't generate another schedule

You have to manually generate schedules to make sure it leaves a gap, if you increase the games played in a season, the schedule it says its generated doesn't do it.
