Jersey weirdness

Why the retired players wear a "free agent" jersey and cap? Doesn't look good to me, would make more sense if they would wear the uniform of the team they had their best stats with no? First two screen captures are from OOTP24 and the other two are from OOTP22...

I haven't done anything different when I created the historical league in both game version, so I don't understand why that happens.

For some reasons it list "no team" and not "retired" in the team data as it should do with this year game (I think that began with last year version)...

Hi AESP. I think he's not Retired in the top one. He's still a free agent. Is it supposed to retire him according to history and didn't?

Yeah he is supposed to retired according to history and he shows up in the recently retired section (for some reasons I don't get if I check the retired tag there aren't one single player there).

BTW if you check his history he retired the 11/01/1871

Weirdly "retire according to history" is greyed out in the game setting and uncheck I don't uderstand why... I created my league with the trade and lineup going in the advanced option as I always did even if it was 1871 (only way to load the trade since it's impossible to do after finalizing the league).

For all the other recently retired, are they also "No Team" and wearing the FA white tablecloth or is it just Pony? Seems a Retirement issue or something in the Transaction file not keeping them retired versus the jersey per se. I wonder if the jersey would fix if you manually retired him.

Yes it's the same for all of them... I retired him manually and it seems to fix the jersey (no idea if he will decide to come back again later).

Seem counter productive to me if I must do that every seasons for all the players who retire?

Nah, you shouldn't have to do that. But as opposed to a jersey issue, it's a "Retire According to History" bug. The jersey is actually correct given they are not truly retired. I'd post in the Bug Forum and just link back to this thread.

Created a new league in 1871 and I always have the same problem. Even if I select "retire players according to history" and "players miss seasons according to history" in the advance option when I create the league both options are unselected and greyed out when the league creation process is done.

So I know that I will have the same retired / free agent problem again... come on this is certainly fixable since that problem didn't exist in OOTP22 (I'm sure it appears at some point with a patch for OOTP23 last year).

The fact I use the transactions in the 19th century isn't the problem since it worked no problem before...
