Manually select teams for playoffs

I would like to use more complex criteria for selecting playoff teams in my 4-league association (basically including performance in tournaments and league playoffs). Is there an easy way to manually put teams into the playoffs? I know I can go in and select teams by their position in the league, so that might work if nothing else does.
