PT Question: What is this "Omega Eta"

This is my first time playing Go from the start. What exactly is this division/league/level/whatever we are all in right now? Is it like a seeding thing?

Yup that's the PT tiers system at work. We have levels you get promoted and demoted to and from as you play each week. You start in Entry Pool which uses those Greek Alphabet phrases for each Entry Pool league.

Yeah, I started midway through 23 so I was just launched in to the bottom league right from the start, IIRC.

How does this work? What's the highest someone can go out of this preliminary group? Are some of these teams gonna end up in the top league?
