End of Season 02, v24
Baltimore Barons (PT+)
Gold .314, 74-88, Stays in Gold 2 Perfects (Verlander 10-18, 4.01 ERA), Juan Soto (.211/.386/.437) FROM - 4 Diamonds, 11 Golds, 9 Silvers, 1 Bronze TO - 10 Diamonds, 11 Gold, 3 Silvers Surprisingly, I was able to add David Cone(98), Don Drysdale(98), Julio Urias(94), Vinnie Pasquantino(90), Juan Soto(100), and Lefty O'Doul(99) through the 25,000 PP promotion to Gold and opening packs. A 74-88 record is little to write home about, but this roster has a decent chance to reach Diamond for at least a visit with a little more luck. ((PS> Also added 93 2B Rennie Stennett as leadoff hitter at Winter Meetings.)) Cleveland Commodores Bronze .214, 75-87, Stays in Bronze FROM - 3 Diamonds, 8 Golds, 5 Silvers, 10 Bronze TO - 3 Diamonds, 9 Golds, 6 Silvers, 8 Bronze Still the weakest team of the three. Little luck improving the team but I at least get to stay in Bronze. ((PS> Although there has been no commitments to the OL league, with Stanley Kuppchaser's passing, I think I may qualify this roster as my "historic cards" only team and label it as -OL. If there are enough interested parties as the year progresses, consider the Cleveland Commodores as a charter team.)) Akron Aeros Silver .257, 90-72, Promoted to Gold FROM - 3 Diamonds, 17 Golds, 3 Silvers, 2 Bronze, 1 Iron TO - 4 Diamonds, 17 Golds, 5 Silvers Big addition was Felipe Alou(96). The team surprised me, holding their own in Silver and pulling out a pennant. Will have to see if they can advance in the playoffs, but they get their promotion to Gold. The 25,000 promotion bonus will give them a needed boost on the roster. UPDATE: No advance in playoffs, but will go to Gold. Barring any surprises, I should have two teams in Gold and one in Bronze for season 3. It's obviously still early and we're wading through the Whales as they float to the top, but any early hold on an upper level will at least be better than trying to climb from the bottom once all levels are full.

My 114 win Iron team freshly fleshed out with 26 historical diamond cards that are NOT mission rewards got dumped in the division series by an 84 win team composed of live diamonds and golds. It's my own fault though. Ahead in the series 2 games to 1 and leading game four 2-1 going into the bottom of the 9th I had failed to designate a secondary closer in the event my top closer was gassed which it was and the AI chose a new closer poorly.

3 playoff teams, 1 combined win, including getting swept out as the #1 overall seed.
The Magus playoff no-shows that have plagued me since 21 show no signs of abating. One team's heading to gold though. Conglaturation? |

Sent all 4 teams to the playoffs
One Iron ring and will be promoted to Bronze.
One iron lost in the DS but will be promoted to Bronze. One Iron out in the first round after sneaking in as the last WC. will repeat Iron. One Bronze lost in the LCS to the team that nosed it out for the division and went on to win the WS, will be promoted to Silver. |

So far finished both seasons 84-78. 1st season missed WC game by a game. 2nd season made the WC spot, only to get swept. 3rd seasons a charm? My team on paper looks good enough for a promotion.
