Park Factors (Frozen In Time)

I'm in an online league where the commissioners switch the park factors back to how they've been since we started (roughly OOTP18).

Anyone have any insight or feedback into whether this is fine because for example a park factor of 1.05 in OOTP18 results in the same output as 1.05 in OOTP24?

Or are we warping how the game should go because factors aren't comparable based on coding changes over the years?

The effect of park factors has not changed, so it's fine.
