Hate new login reward system, less rewards equals less play for me

This new reward system is terrible. The old system you got points you could count on. In the new, you get packs that don't count for much. Sure, they cost 1000 points, but give me the points because the odds of even getting a gold/diamond card you can cash in is highly unlikely. When you move up the login days those 1000, 1500 points come in handy. Even day one you get 100 points in the old system; in the system you mostly will get a pack that you can't sell to equal 100! I don't see myself putting much time in this part of the game like I did in version 23.

I wonder why the changed the system. Did the developers think people would buy more points to get the players they want? I do not know. I think it will have the opposite effect in the end. Variable reinforcement is one of strongest reinforcers out there, but you got to let the people win every once in a while, to make it work. In the packs I have opened so far in the new reward system, not one gold or diamond. I would be way ahead in the old system value wise. It will only get worse as time goes on. That's the end of my rant.

On the other hand, I bagged a perfect Bettances. Anecdotal evidence, but to me...every pack holds the promise of lightning striking.

Agreed. 37 lottery tickets per 30 days is way better than 9 lottery tickets and ~25000 PP doled out over 35 days like a child's allowance.

I like the packs rewards also. hitting the jackpot is one of the more fun parts of the game - the whole idea of when we opened BB card packs when we were kids. The combo of card pack rewards and PT+ seems to work well.

I like the thrill of chase, but I think the later is probably “better” for the vast majority of players month in and month out. Especially when praying for a lightning strike.

It might be better the first month or two, but zero chance it is beneficial in the mid to long term.
