how to earn pp
I played Perfect Team 21 years ago, and was easily able to add PPs by simply entering old player tournaments with only older players, and winning something once every 5 tournaments or so. Its been years.
Just bought 24. The tournaments I once played in no longer seem to be there, so I've got to find a new way to grind for PP. What is an effective way to get PP or packs? Can I gain PP buy playing out games in the ootp season. I thought that was a thing before as well. |

Challenge Mode still exists, and you should be able to get packs that way.
Best way to rise up is to finish the live missions, and sell off the cards you can't use. If there aren't offers for them and you're in a hurry, you can quick sell. You'll lose some points over putting them out in the Auction House, but it's quicker. Decide what your time is worth, and run with it.

Earn points and collect cards:
1. Start by selling anything on your initial roster that's worth more than 150 PP. That means pretty much any Silver card or above. Don't worry about selling Live Silvers, Golds, Diamonds, or Perfects. You'll only need a small handful of them to complete all Live missions, and you can easily reacquire the ones you need (or you can scroll through the missions to identify those that require some Silver or Gold cards and keep those). 2. Hit the Live Series missions. Go division by division (start with the Centrals first, as they're easiest). Sell the toppers to build funds. None of them are essential at this point, and there is a plentiful supply if you decide to buy back later in order to complete other missions. 3. Intermixed with completing the Live Series, complete the Build-a-Lineup Bronze missions. Buy the Bronze starter card (if you haven't pulled one from a pack) and the mission cards. You get packs for locking the Bronze card, completing the Bronze mission, and locking the Silver upgrade version. This helps with completing the Live Series, as most of the cards you'll pull are Live cards. 4. Use the cards you've acquired to build a decent Iron tournament roster (the Build-a-Lineup bronze mission cards are especially useful for this). Start spamming Iron quick tournaments (a win gets you three Standard packs, second place gets you one). Also enter some daily Iron tournaments, which have much better rewards (you get two Standard packs just for winning your first-round series). This process is self-funding. The sale of Live Series toppers will outstrip the cost of completing the missions. Do as many of the Build-a-Lineups as you can along the way (but only the Bronze missions at this point), since those get you three packs each, but don't let your points on hand fall too low (BaL is not self-funding except for the cards you pull from packs). By the time you've completed the Live set and BaL through Bronze missions and Silver locks and then sold all of the Live Series toppers, you should have roughly 200,000 PP plus a decent roster based around the BaL Silver cards and any other worthwhile card pulls. |

Regular tournaments are still there. Maybe they have different names.
Perfect draft is new since 21. In these, you don't have to own the cards, but rather select your team from a random set of cards dealt to you in 13 rounds. It gives you a chance to play with perfect cards without owning them. In the perfecto tournament that's all you get to choose from is perfect cards. |

By far the easiest way to get packs are twitch drops. They are free and you don't even have to play the game to get them! Start a twitch account and link it to your ootp account and then connect to official and affiliate streams. You can get 5 silver and 1 standard pack from the official streams and 4 standard and 1 silver from the affiliate streams each day. Sometimes on special occasions these rewards are increased. I average 64 packs a week.

As far as tournaments go to twitch.tv and search for laptophound. If you had watched these streams live, you would have earned free packs, but if you watch it now, no packs, but you will learn a lot about iron and bronze tournaments. That information starts around the 20-minute mark.

To be clear, you only get the packs if you watch the stream live. Watching it VOD will allow you to consume the info, but no packs.
