Transferring Saved Games from 23 to 24

Cannot transfer saved game fromr OOTP 23 to OOTP 24. No menu choices.

Did you expand More Game Modes on the main screen?

Can you post a screenshot of the Start page? See the second to last option at the bottom? Do you have that?

yes, I have the same screen with the option to impoirt OOTP 23 saved games. When I click, I get the screen with OOTP24/saved games.

If you are a Mac user it's because Apple requires us to run the game in sandbox mode.

So if you are a mac user please follow the instructions below and let me know if that helps.

If you can't access the saved games folder of OOTP 23 from OOTP 24, you might have to use an intermediate folder. Locate the saved game which you'd like to import . To do that, start OOTP 23, open the Settings dialog, open the Troubleshooting tab and click on "Open folder containing saved games". In the Finder window, right-click on the saved game folder and select "Copy".
Then open OOTP 24, open the Settings dialog, open the Troubleshooting tab, click on "Open folder containing saved games", right-click into the folder and select "Paste" to insert the league folder. We suggest you rename it then, for example add a "ootp23" prefix. Now you can see and select that folder when you use the "Import From OOTP 23" button.
