unlimited rosters post-trade deadline

after the trade deadline in the NHL, the roster limit for each team is unlimited, as long as they stay under the cap.

Is there no way of having this in the game, post deadline?

also, my game is on March 5 2023, trade deadline passed (According to game on March 4), why am I still seeing trades (Dallas C.Miller --> ARZ) featuring active NHL players?

Not possible during the season. The rosters won't be updated to match the current rosters until later this month.

just to make sure we're on the same page, I was referring to my current game save, not for any roster updates provided by your team

if not, the post-trade deadline unlimited rosters should be a feature added in an upcoming game update

Yeah, not sure why there would be a trade after the deadline. Are you sure it wasn't just a waiver claim?

no it was announced as a news item that Dallas traded Colin Miller for a draft pick. The CPU really wants to get rid of Miller, second time I nullified the deal as commissioner. Weird because Miller has played every game for Dallas up this point

Well there must be some sort of exception, because there was trade listed on Elite Prospects for the NHL as well.

The NHL allows trades after the deadline, but the players involved cannot play in the playoffs for their new team. I've no idea if FHM includes that functionality though....(edit...I don't think so).
