In my opinion, year over year it gets better and better. Things are still not perfect, but there is improvement over 23.

I haven't seen the really weird foul balls from one side to the other or the fly balls that do a 90 degree turn so it's much better. Looks cleaner and it's nice and smooth. There is plays that make you say "wtf" like hard grounder to 1b that the guy beats out while he stands there with thw ball. Other than that, I'm enjoying it

Seen one yesterday, it was a triple and the replay showed the hit down the first base line like a normal hit. Weird.

On GB to 1b like you descibed I can imagine it's nearly impossible to make a 3-D play where the 1b man kicks the ball around a bit which happens kinda regular IRL. I just use my imagination on those plays & maybe at sometime we'll get to see them kicking ball around,,lol....who knows. For me this version of 3-D play is simply amazing from past versions...I'm just gonna wait until at least a month of updates to begin my franchise league....I'm just configuring all the options to see what I like the best while playing out games

I've seen a few instances of the super slow throw to 1B that the runner always beats. Was hoping that had been fixed

Agreed. There will always be some shortcomings where one has to use their imagination to "see" how the play unfolded. Each year they clean up more of the shortcomings. The "catch the ball, stand and don't throw" type of shortcomings are about as frustrating as it gets, IE they really stick out.

I won't get v24 until tomorrow from Steam, and am hopeful my "worst" shortcoming got cleaned up. IE IF-in, bases loaded, hard ground ball directly to 2b, he gloves it and... holds the ball. Everybody's safe
After I yell at the monitor, I run through how this could have happened. Does it calm me down? No.

I was hoping too that that would be gone. I think Matt has commented previously that getting the timing right is the hardest part of building the plays.

Maybe they get this one in a patch this year?

Thats what I do too, it doesn't really bother me too much, I just figure it's not showing exactly what happened but a general idea and move on. It is overall a significant upgrade IMHO. I'm enjoying it

Well at least the ground balls to the RF wall that are run down by the second baseman who then throws out the batter shuffling to 1B are gone

I like the easy fly balls to the outfield that the runners inexplicably don't tag for and I think, "oh yeah, that OF is totally going to drop that ball"
