Dumb question - Importing saved games

Can you import your saved OOTP 23 (or previous) game into the new version? Signed, someone who was antsy to play and bought OOTP 23 yesterday, but seeing the '24 trailer would like to use a lot of the new changes for his expansion franchise, but not start over on March 24.

When you do it, be sure to do it immediately after the Word Series. That's when the game is best suited for a migration up to a new edition. It's easy to do.

Is the process of importing saved games different for Mac users? I remember there being a tutorial for Mac users somewhere, because I believe there was an extra step involved, but the tutorial made it super easy.

Each version has that button to import a save from the previous version

Do some of you find that when you import a saved game to a new version some of your players who used to be stars or at least decent starters, their ratings plummet and they are barely serviceable big league'ers from that point forward.

Started my game in v4, have imported all the way to v23, and will import to v24 when released.

To answer your question, no.

Several imports but have never seen that, so... no.
