Hi again. I've played through about five seasons in one of my NCAA saves and have run into some additional bugs and quality-of-life issues:
- I can't seem to redshirt after the first season. The option always is greyed out regardless of the month.
- The walk-on function appears to break after a while. The option would still be in the drop-down, but nothing would happen after clicking on it. I ran out of goaltenders in my most-recent season and had to convert a forward to fill out my roster. (When I tried to play a game with the converted forward, the game crashed.)
- Not all verbal commitments show up on the front page during the signing day event. The player's commitment would still be listed on the player's bio page, but not on the draft page.
- Somehow, I got the Frozen Four achievement in a season where I went 0-36-0. (It was the first season where I doing a one-star walk-on-only game.)
- There's some wonky stuff with scholarships. One year, I recruited over my limit. Another year, I wasn't able to offer a full scholarship to a player I nominated when, according to my count, I had one left. (I was able to offer a full scholarship to a player that I didn't nominate, however.)
- I can't seem to tell how many roster spots I have left for recruiting. (Scholarship and roster spot counters would be greatly appreciated. The count I have on my legal pad next to my computer never seems to match the game.)
- I'm still having issues with arena edits reverting. I have to go into commissioner mode at the start of every year to input accurate building information.
- The scheduling logic is off for weekend home-and-homes. It makes sense for Michigan State to play home-and-homes with Ferris State, or Western Michigan, or Bowling Green over a weekend, as those are all short bus trips. It doesn't make sense for MSU to play a weekend home-and-home with Northern Michigan, which is an eight-hour bus trip, or RIT, which would be a flight.
Still really enjoy the game, though. I look forward to future improvements to NCAA gameplay. Keep up the good work!
