I was playing a custom league when I reached the all-star game teams were playing games on the same day

What was the league structure, and was the game added during the starting setup or afterwards? I seem to get a proper break when I try a few different formats.

it was set up when I set up the league
the league is three divisions, with the all-star game is League vs The World
