Crashes when I sim a custom game
Hi team! First of all I want to say thanks in advance for any help you can provide!
I made a custom game to test tactics and it constantly crashes on me when I try to sim a season. The weird thing is that sometimes I will restart the game, sim again and it will sim correctly but will crash a few days later. The save file is a custom game and the players are heavily edited using a macro so if something is broken it's probably my fault, but I couldn't find the cause of the crashes. I tried turning on the trace file, sometimes when it crashes I can see "Alternative Player -> NULL". All the teams should have a complete 20 players roster, and all the lines should be full. Would that cause a crash if a team is missing a player? (Edit: I tried adding 1 more player to each team so they all have 21 but I still get the same error/crash) (Edit 2: I tried using the classic sim engine instead of 2D, I can sim for a few months but it will eventually still crash, I also have "Alternative Player -> NULL" in the debug log when it crashes using the classic engine) I will DM the link to the save file to Jeff. Yes, it's crashing because there are no additional players on the rosters for teams to use if injuries/suspensions occur. Try adding a few more players to them.
