How can I start a new game featuring the current World Series match up and it be recognized as the World Series and not as regular season series?

Live Start? Not sure if OOTP does an update for the WS though. Matter of fact I don't even know if OOTP does an update for post season.

Start a new Standard Game and check the Live Start box and the game will start at the beginning of the World Series. Only thing you won't see are the players playoff stats. does not look like those are updated.
