A Couple Of Things
First, how can I generate more draft prospects? I've run into drafts only being as short as three rounds due to a lack of players available.
Second, I created a European league that is almost but not quite as good as the NHL and with a slightly lower salary cap. Teams in this league signed some mediocre free agents, but this past off season I had dozens of quality free agents unsigned. I know there was little movement in the NHL because most of the best guys were signed to long term deals (my team included) but the purpose of the European league was to have a landing spot for good free agents not signed by the NHL. Teams in that league right now have tens of millions of unused cap space. Any help or suggestions for the above would be appreciated.

Just as a follow up, the issue of the European league not signing players has been resolved.
I'm going to expand the ECHL and see if I don't get bigger and deeper draft classes. I can't think of another way unless anyone has suggestions.

Yeah, I don't think there's a way to generate more prospects. That's a big reason I don't do custom leagues, because the draft pool becomes quite small.
