Getting all the information out of the CSV

Hey all,

I am currently working on a spreadsheet that has some rudimentary analytic tools, and so far, things have been coming together pretty well. However, one thing I noticed pretty quickly is that the stats in the "Season Stats" page are *not* the stats that get exported in the Regular Season Player Stats CSV. The CSV is missing things like TOI averages, offensive and defensive zone starts, and (crucial information for my purposes) on-ice goals for, shooting percentage, and goals against.

Can anyone point me to a file that contains this data, or whether it's possible to export these things somehow? I would greatly appreciate it.

Something like that. I am putting together a spreadsheet that attempts to provide some advanced analytics based on the data we can pull from the game. For example, I currently have a formula to calculate a player's expected goals while on the ice: it takes all the NHL goals scored, multiplied by 4 (since there are usually 4 other players on the ice when a goal goes in), divided by the league-wide Fenwick-For, to provide a rough shooting percentage for the NHL. Apply that to a player's individual FF, and you get an expected-goals stat.

Comparing the output to my team's actual oi-GF (which has to be looked up manually, since it isn't exported), 3 players were dead-on accurate, 9 players were within 3 goals, and 14 players were within 4 goals of their oixGF.

I've also put together a goals-above-replacement metric, based on the numbers used by Evolving Hockey. This lets you see how much better a player is vs the bottom ~20% of NHL players. Also from Evolving Hockey, I used their numbers to add an "expected wins" contribution, though this one is a little harder to predict. I'll keep working on it though.

All of this is done from a single page on the spreadsheet, with dropdown menus to select the team, player, and stat view you want to use, and it can compare three players at a time. It's in its very rough stages right now, but you can see some screenshots on the Discord if you're interested!

That would be a very nice addition to the game.

Can you do also something with the ind. Trophies? Like, who won the most Art Ross? Who has most nomination for a Norris? ...

This is nice you are doing it. Why can't it be built into the game?

There is no excuse for a stat based game not to have ALL stats and analysis.
Disappointing : (((
