Historical Imports Crashing while loading logos

I have tried to import 4-5 different seasons and the game keeps crashing while loading logos. The crash occurs during the import process after choosing your team/and typing in your name/date of birth.

I was having no issues with this prior to the new patch.

Even when starting a standard game it does the same thing.

I uninstalled the entire game and re-installed everything. It is still doing this.

Generally this can happen if the game is having trouble writing to the saved game directory. The patch wouldn't have affected this at all, but the usual culprits for this sort of thing can include anti-virus or other security programs. These can deny the game write permissions in the save directory and sometimes when you install a new patch, this can trigger these programs to scan the OOTP directories and that may cause some issues there if they return a false positive and they start removing crucial files.

So the first thing to do here is to make sure to whitelist the OOTP program itself and the OOTP data directory as well in any of these programs on your system.

Then go into OOTP and go to settings>troubleshooting and hit the button there to 'force reinstall game data'. That should sort things out.
