Game Crashes

Have a league member about to quit our league because of the switch to OOTP 23. 23 crashes on him on him constantly. It has crashed on him when clicks on a player, when he clicks on the transaction screen, has crashed on him while trying to save the game. He has a PC and has the game on steam. This never happened with OOTP 22. No changes other than switching from OOTP 22 to 23. Any suggestions or recommendations for him?
