Elite Starters Simply Not Generating
Here's a look at the top starters in my quickstart league (2027). Not a single player rated 70+.
On a similar note, it is super rare to see a pitcher have an "outlier", or truly remarkable season. I get maybe one or two starters a year with an ERA below 3. Is there any fix that can be done on my end to produce elite starters? |

Otherwise I don't know what the problem is. As of the most recent patch this is not something I see, high quality starters seem to generate fine now. My current save in 2030 has four 5-star starters, all under the age of 30, two with off-the-charts level stuff. Did you change any settings from default? |

For example, current #1 pitching prospect Grayson Rodriguez has capped out at 55 overall and a mid 4 ERA guy. Obviously not every prospect realizes their potential but that's just one example of a young pitcher not fully developing, even those not auto-generated by the game |

I don't know the details of the stuff bug, it was never fully explained what went wrong. It's possible it could have impacted development too. Try starting a new game on the most recent patch that doesn't have so many game-breaking bugs in it and see if the problem still occurs.
