Manger History Bug

I am in a MLB historical sim. I started in 1977 and am now in the 1998 season. I did not change any MLB rules or modify any playoff structure. When I checked my manger history in my 1998 season, I noticed that the game lists in 1984 that I lost in the Division Series. I actually lost in the Championship series as there was no division series yet in 1984. Additionally, in 1998 I lost in the World Series. My manger history shows I lost in the Championship series.

This series history mix-up didn't happen prior to 1994 when there was no division series yet. From 1994 on it appears the game details your team history as the number of series you won in today's current environment. I did not have any issue like this when I checked my history prior to 1994.

Anyone else have this issue, is this already known, or did I do something wrong in setting up my league?
